On October 6th, the Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating a crash between a car and a crane truck that occurred on SR-24. The crash seems to have happened at the intersection of SR-24 and Williams Field Road. The car had 4 people inside; it was t-boned by the crane truck leaving one person dead and the other three in critical condition. The crane truck driver was also taken to the hospital for their injuries.
The Arizona Department of Transportation had closed SR-24 eastbound in Queen Creek after the crash. Law enforcement is still investigating the accident to find out what caused this t-bone crash.
